Summary

Panel I of the conference of the Studenci dla Rzeczypospolitej (Students for the Republic) association, held at the Primate's Palace in Warsaw to mark the association's 10th anniversary. Igor Miasnikow opened the debate with his own analysis of the causes of Russia's aggression against Ukraine – the thesis of a Russian “geographic dividend” and of Russia's drive to control the entry points of Eurasia's transport arteries (Georgia 2008, Crimea, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine) – and led the conversation through four thematic blocks. The panelists were Antoni Macierewicz and Dr Józef Orzeł. An event outside the GGM series.
