American economist and professor at NYU Stern, known for his warnings ahead of the 2008 financial crisis. At the 9th European Financial Congress in Sopot he warned against populism, the consequences of a hard Brexit and a US–China “cold war” over the technologies of the future. Igor's brief conversation with him on the sidelines of the EFC is cited in the master's thesis.
