Summary

This debate between two major generals examined how far the American concept of the multi-domain battlefield fits Polish conditions and capabilities. Gen. Leon Komornicki argued that US Army solutions cannot be transferred wholesale without being tied to universal defence, defence awareness and societal resilience, and pointed to the conceptual confusion surrounding “hybrid warfare”. The conversation also covered disinformation on social media as a tool for eroding trust in the state, as well as the direction of modernisation and procurement.
