Position at the time
Retired major general; Chair of the Industrial Committee of the Euro-Atlantic Association, member of the BCC Economic Shadow Cabinet, Chair of the Board of the Foundation for the Fallen and Murdered in the East (Fundacja Poległym i Pomordowanym na Wschodzie).

General of the Polish Armed Forces; in the course of his career he commanded a tank regiment, an armoured division and a military district, and in 1993 he became Head of the Training Inspectorate and Deputy Chief of the General Staff; co-author of the arrangements that prepared the Armed Forces for NATO accession. In 1998 he left the service at his own request; he co-founded the Business Centre Club and comments on the state of the defence industry and the modernisation of the armed forces. An interview with him from 2019 was used in Igor's master's thesis.
