Professor and head of the Division of International Relations and Strategic Studies at the Institute of Political Science, University of Gdańsk; member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Geopolitics in Częstochowa.

A political scientist at the University of Gdańsk and researcher of Russia, geopolitical consciousness and the theory of geopolitics. His works include the monographs “Społeczno-kulturowy kontekst aktywności międzynarodowej Federacji Rosyjskiej” [The Socio-Cultural Context of the International Activity of the Russian Federation] (2008), “Wprowadzenie do geopolityki” [Introduction to Geopolitics] (2010) and “Geopolityka w świecie ponowoczesnym” [Geopolitics in the Postmodern World] (2011). At GGM in 2018 he took part in the Middle East panel.
