Position at the time
2016: director of the Institute for National Security Research at WSIiZ (University of Information Technology and Management) in Rzeszów, former consultant at the National Security Bureau (BBN); 2018: head of the Department of Internal Security at WSIiZ in Rzeszów and director of the Institute for National Security Research.

A historian and researcher of international security, formerly a career officer of the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade. He served in the UN mission on the Golan Heights (1997–1998) and in the coalition forces' operation in Iraq (2005–2006) as a Battle Captain; his experience in Iraq became the subject of his habilitation at the Jagiellonian University (the monograph “Sztuka budowania pokoju” [The Art of Peacebuilding]). He appeared at GGM twice: with an analysis of the rivalry between Russia and the USA (2016) and on the Middle East panel (2018).
