Edition III (2019)The Role of the Sea in 21st-Century Great-Power Rivalry (in the programme: “Command of the Sea Lines of Communication as a ‘New’ Dimension of the Rivalry between the US and Russia and the PRC: The Case of the Baltic Sea”)
Talks of the 3rd edition (10:00–10:40)
Thesis: after the failure of attempts to control the land “heartland” (Afghanistan, Iraq), around 2005 the US returned to a strategy of command of the sea, while Russia and China demonstrated their ability to maintain a presence in the Mediterranean; Poland must anticipate the consequences of these shifts in the Baltic as well.

Edition III (2019)Plenary forum “Building a Coherent European Security System”
In the discussion he raised the issue of maritime security and of how realistic Poland's maritime security concept is.

Great-Power Rivalry as a Threat to State Security and a Determinant Shaping Polish Security Policy
NUP 2X35 seminar “Forecasts, Trends and Implications in Geopolitics up to 2035” (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Gdańsk)
Thesis: in the first decade of the 21st century none of the powers achieved its strategic goals, which gave rise to American “neo-navalism” – control of the key shipping chokepoints around Eurasia – and to a Chinese response in the spirit of rivalry between a land power and a sea power.
