Position, biography and appearances
Position at the time
2019 and 2021: lieutenant general (retired), Commander of the Land Forces in 2006–2009, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence 2012–2013, Senior Fellow in the expert team of the Casimir Pulaski Foundation.

A staff-college-qualified officer of the armoured and mechanised forces, in service since 1976; his commands included the 16th Pomeranian Mechanised Division, the 11th Lubusz Armoured Cavalry Division and Multinational Division Central-South in Iraq (2005). In 2006–2009 he was Commander of the Land Forces, then adviser to the Minister of National Defence and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence (2012–2013). At GGM he gave a pre-conference interview (2019), delivered a talk on Poland's security in the great-power game and took part in the series' most-watched debate – on military mobility on NATO's eastern flank (2021).
