Chief Economic Adviser at PwC; Director of the Warsaw University of Technology Business School; associated with NOBE (Niezależny Ośrodek Badań Ekonomicznych); member of the National Development Council to the President of the Republic of Poland.

Economist specialising in macroeconomics, growth theory and European integration; author of 12 books and more than 200 publications. He headed President Aleksander Kwaśniewski's team of economic advisers, sat on the advisory councils of subsequent presidents and of the prime minister, and from 2017 to 2019 was Rector of Vistula University. At GGM he moderated the debate on innovative banking, starting from the thesis that the strength of great powers is determined by financial might.
