Position, biography and appearances
Position at the time
2018: assistant professor at the Department of Economics of European Integration, Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, research partner of the Institute for Development, former associate of CASE. 2021: introduced by the organiser as chief economist of IHS Markit in Poland and Senior BI consultant at ABSL Polska.

An economist at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdańsk, specialising in international economics, economic growth and development, regional integration and new economic geography; author of more than 60 publications and leader of Jean Monnet projects. He has also lectured at Hochschule Bremen and Charles University in Prague. At GGM he asked whether Poland's standing as a regional power is an illusion, and in 2021 he moderated the debate on the future of EU fiscal rules.
